Looking to modernise its classroom offer, NaTran (GRTgaz) asked us to design a set of agile blended pathways, co-built with its subject-matter experts. The result: a complete elearning catalogue, targeted virtual classrooms and built-in assessments to track what people have learned.
Who is it for?
The ambition was to take the existing offer online and create more flexible pathways, while making the learning experience consistent for everyone. The variety and unevenness of the source materials called for a process co-built with the internal trainers.
What we did
We produced ten elearning modules of 15 to 20 minutes covering the gas risk prescriptions handbook (CPP gaz), risk management, six operational procedures and four practical cases, rounded out with an awareness module on explosive atmospheres (ATEX).
Alongside the elearning modules, the learning architecture rests on a virtual classroom pack and three LMS quizzes to assess understanding and transfer into the workplace. Development was done in Storyline, and the rollout orchestrated on the Pro'dige platform (Bealink), working closely with the experts to guarantee that the content matched the job.
Results & impact
The catalogue as structured is now available to all staff. The modular pathways support retention, practice and consistency in safety behaviour. The built-in assessments give a reliable view of what has been learned and make development plans easier to steer.
