Faced with dense, highly structured courses — including a finance module running over more than six weeks with a great many quizzes — Kedge BS wanted to give students a single point of entry.
We designed and deployed a conversational bot powered byartificial intelligenceand connected to the learning ecosystem, so answers come quickly, accurately and in the right place.
Background & challenge
The school wanted to reduce the flow of questions reaching teaching staff while improving response times and student autonomy. Essential information — calendar, results, resources — was scattered and hard to navigate for an audience often on the move.
What we did
We built an AI chatbot able to query the events calendar, return quiz results, point students to the relevant PDF resources and explain key concepts from a structured knowledge base. The internal search engine indexes the useful content and retrieves it quickly. The integration was made seamlessly into Blackboard Learn Ultra using Microsoft Azure AI services, so that existing habits were preserved and adoption was immediate.
Results & impact
Students now reach information smoothly, within the digital environment they already use, and gain in autonomy. Support channels are less congested, time-to-answer is down and the learning experience is more continuous, particularly on the most demanding finance courses.
Key figures
The scope covers courses running over more than six weeks with numerous quizzes, native integration with Blackboard Learn Ultra and an AI-driven knowledge base for finding information.
