How did you found Aptilink?

Aptilink was founded in 2012 in response to the lack of players who could genuinely support a strategy for transforming corporate training. There were plenty of companies producing bespoke training content, but few had a service offer covering the whole value chain: from strategic consultancy to technological delivery. Aptilink positioned itself from the outset at the intersection of learning design and technology. As a consultancy, it helps institutions take their training offer online, choose technology solutions and transform their learning & development function. The same team supports our clients from strategic advice through to operational delivery. We also provide solutions, as we distribute Blackboard Anthology in France.

What digital learning consulting work do you do?

In practice, we respond to tenders and to requests from clients and prospects who want to change their training strategy. So it is strategic support that we offer first. For a luxury-sector client whose technology ecosystem no longer met its teams’ needs, for example, we ran an audit to gather the needs and practices of the learning & development managers. We then produced transformation recommendations, which led to the drafting of a specification for choosing the best technology solutions. After that we supported them in integrating the platform into their existing technology ecosystem. We also design bespoke training with our clients. Those learning pathways might include videos generated with Synthesia, or content produced with authoring tools such as Storyline.

What are your consulting plans for 2026?

Aptilink’s clients include large international groups (Auchan), higher education institutions (Neoma Business School) and small and mid-sized companies. We now want to help our clients meet the big challenges facing the L&D function. First, dealing with artificial intelligence, because it matters that everyone in learning develops practices built on European, sovereign AI. The other major shift under way is digital accessibility. Training now has to be more inclusive, for legal and moral reasons alike. Our aim is to support organisations better in producing content that is genuinely accessible.
